BioMedPress (BMP) is Open Access Publisher that publishing all fields of biology, biotechnology and medicine. It was established in 2014 with only 3 employees in a tiny office from the a research group at Stem Cell Institute (formerly Laboratory of Stem Cell Research and Application), University of Science, VNU-HCM, Viet Nam. Today, after 4 years of publishing, this publisher employs more than 15 staffs. In the vision, BMP will become one of the leading scientific publishers, especially in biomedical science and biological science in the Asia-Pacific region.
In the early time, BMP in collaboration with Springer-Nature published 2 journals included Biomedical Research and Therapy; and Progress in Stem Cell in the platform of Global Science Journals. From October 2016, BMP discontinued in collaboration with Springer-Nature and become the independent publisher. Besides scientific journals, from 2016, BMP opened the open access book publications. BMP also opened the editing service with abroad service in publishing from english editing to proofing, plagiarism checking, cover letter development…
In the plan, BMP would like to publish about 20 journals, 100 books in 2025. Therefore, now BMP would like to invite and call for publishing collaboration with universities, societies, scientific organizers in Asia-Pacific as well as in the world to publish their journals, and books.
