Greetings from BioMedPress, a publisher of new journal Progress in Biology – PB (Prog. Bio.). We are happy to inform you that PB is a peer-reviewed journal open access which publishes research articles with a special emphasis on biology and biotechnology. The journal also provides reviews, viewpoints, commentaries and reports.
They will have DOI (Digital Object Identifiers), and permanently archived in database.
We are contacting you as you have published before in this area and we invite you to submit research/review articles, short communications, case report, drug watch, short notes, letter to editors, book reviews and case studies for publication in forthcoming issues of PB.
Please read over the journal’s Author Guidelines for more information on the journal’s policies and the submission process and also Publication Ethics. We are currently offering an introductory waiver on all article processing charges (until 12, 2018). After this period ends, we do waive the processing fee in some cases. We have a small budget for waiving or partially waiving fees for authors in developing countries and others in genuine financial hardship. The article processing charges is 150 USD for usual process, and fast-track review that guaranteeing to take place within 3 weeks from submission to online publication is 250 USD.
All articles will be subjected to double blind peer-review system and the receipt of the manuscripts will be acknowledged through online-submission system.
Review process of the submitted articles will be done within 30 working days after the date of submission and the accepted articles will be published in the upcoming issue. Preference will be given to the early and noteworthy submissions.
